About Outdoor Lighting Perspectives

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives is an architectural and landscape outdoor lighting franchise company. We also design pool lighting, patio lighting, deck lighting, garden lighting, outdoor room lighting and more. The product sells itself. Our franchise partners go to each home and do a totally free demonstration. They go in the evening and actually set up the lights so the homeowner can see exactly what they are getting. My favorite product is the path light. It’s genuine copper and gets this beautiful patina with weathering. I’ve seen so many lights that are plastic and painted to look like a natural element such as silver or gold or copper.

As a woman, what also appeals to me is the increased home/yard safety with outdoor lighting. I know break-ins are far less frequent with well-lit homes. I watched my favorite show Criminal Minds recently. On the show, they mentioned the 5 things burglars look for when selecting a house to break in to. I couldn’t remember all of them so I searched the web. This article confirms that burglars look for a house where access to doors and windows is dark so they have a place to hide when they are trying to break in. See this article. This is why burglars often choose to break in through the back. Our outdoor lighting works just as well in the back as in the front. We have deck lighting, pool lighting, garden lighting as well as the standard well lights and flood lights to light the doors and windows on the back of your house for added security.

This deck with outdoor lighting certainly would deter a burglar from targeting to get in through the back of this house.
